I highly recommend the second edition Peterson Field guide. I have both the first and second editions, and they are both great resources if you live in North America. iNaturalist.com, mushroomobserver.org, and mushroomexpert.com are also great online resources. If you prefer video resources, I'd also recommend the Learn Your Land YouTube channel. It's run by a mycologist/naturalist named Adam Haritan, and he is an excellent and passionate teacher. He also offers an online course on edible/medicinal mushroom species that offers similar videos to what you can find on his YouTube channel, but with much more detail.
