Cool! I had no idea that Ramarias were even edible. The only edible coral fungus I'm aware of is crown-tipped coral fungus.

I think you are right. They look like brick caps to me! You do typically see a similar brick-red color as shown in the center of the cap becoming more and more pronounced on the stem as you move from the
