I'm glad that you like the picture! I don't think that any of the copepods are actively laying eggs in any of these images, but the masses of spheres attached to some of their abdomens are eggs.

It is a yellow cup fungi but not a mold. I agree that they are beautiful - I'm always happy to find this species :)

Most of the plants I've come across lately are ones that are familiar enough for me to identify in the field, but for those that I am unsure of, or are new to me, I use inaturalist as a starting point.

Same here. They seem to like building their webs at eye-level, so I end up walking face-first into their webs at least once or twice each summer.
