It’s been a crazy couple of days! This weekend was insanely busy...and just plain insane!

Today was a good day though...although the boys weren’t well behaved little angels...I still enjoyed spending Mother’s day with them!

My husband, with the help of the kids I’m sure, made me a beautiful picture album with photos from the boys throughout the years!
My oldest son insisted on bringing me breakfast in bed. He’s 4...and can’t cook...so, vanilla cupcake poptarts were on the menu. I managed to gag it down...so as not to hurt his feelings! Lol.

The boys helped me make the chocolate covered strawberries for my mom (their Nammy). It was much more difficult than I had thought it would be!
First...I bought the wrong type of chocolate...I couldn’t get it to melt! I burnt the first batch and I almost gave up! I had to dig around for some candy bars we had in the cupboard! Luckily, those melted down really well!
The chocolate made the strawberries heavy...so they kept falling off the fork as we dipped them!
I let the boys crush the peanuts...that was their favorite part...of course they enjoyed sampling them too! The finished product was quite pretty and tasty!

We ended up going out to lunch with my mother and aunt. It was nice to be able to spend that time together. We followed lunch up with a trip to the park, and then home for late afternoon naps! It was quite a good day indeed!
