My uncle 'Cec' was an extraordinary motivation to me. I consider him regularly and the things he had propelled in me as a tyke. The last time I saw him was at my sibling's burial service in 2007. He had grown somewhat weak and I thought I saw a little coating in his eyes, exceptionally not at all like the man I knew as a youngster. I recollected that him as a solid man with wide shoulders, big biceps, and stunning, would he be able to saw wood with a bucksaw!

As we sat in my sister's front room that day, Uncle Cec was in an intelligent temperament and we thought back every one of the occasions he visited me as a youngster and the triumphs and catastrophes of his life. He was my father's sibling, the second child of five young men experiencing childhood in the 1930's in St. Leonard's, (now known as St.Lunaire) on Newfoundland's incredible Northern Peninsula. Life in right on time out port Newfoundland amid The Great Depression wasn't simple for anybody and uncle Cec had a lot of inconveniences as well. Be that as it may, it resembled he'd constantly used to state, "life is the thing that you make it."
