Sol-Velocity Portfolio Update #1 | Getting Started ================================================== What's up everyone, I figured it was time for my first real portfolio update. The plan is pretty simple. Every two weeks when I get paid, I'll add whatever I can afford into the portfolio and try to keep everything close to my target allocations. Some paychecks will allow me to add more than others, but the goal is to stay consistent and keep building over time. This is where things currently stand. Current Portfolio ----------------- ### SOL * 10.2195 SOL * Value: $757.84 ### HIVE * 1,576.35 HIVE * Value: $79.02 ### Solana Meme Coins * MEW: $18.85 * BONK: $17.15 * WIF: $17.02 * PENGU: $17.00 * PNUT: $16.99 * POPCAT: $16.90 ### PUMP * Value: $75.38 * Currently up about 5.5% ### New Pump.fun Meme Tokens * $0.00 I haven't started buying brand new Pump.fun launches yet, but that's part of the plan going forward. Bot Trading ----------- I also started my first bot on OKX. It's an AVAX DCA bot with $100 allocated to it. Current stats: * Average buy price: $6.28 * Current price: $6.23 * Target sell price: $6.40 Right now it's showing a small loss, but it literally just started running so I'm not worried about that. One thing I like about the OKX bots is that everything is tracked automatically. I can see profits, losses, completed cycles, and overall performance without having to track everything myself. The plan is to reinvest any profits right back into the bot and let it compound over time. How Close Am I To My Target Allocation? --------------------------------------- My portfolio is currently worth about $1,116. When I ran the numbers, I realized SOL is doing a lot of the heavy lifting right now.

Looking at this, SOL is way overweight compared to what I originally planned. I wanted it around 50%, but it's currently sitting close to 68%. Honestly, that's not the worst problem to have. What it does mean is that most of my future deposits will probably go toward the bot account, Pump.fun allocations, and some of the smaller positions until things start balancing out a bit. HIVE is actually pretty close to where I want it, which is nice considering this whole journey is being documented here. The Game Plan ------------- My target allocation is still: * 50% SOL * 20% Bot Trading * 6% HIVE * 6% PUMP * 6% Pump.fun Meme Tokens * 2% MEW * 2% WIF * 2% PENGU * 2% PNUT * 2% POPCAT * 2% BONK The wildcard here is definitely the Pump.fun side of the portfolio. That's where I'll be taking some shots on newer meme coins. Most won't amount to much, but if I can catch a couple of big runners, the plan is to move profits back into SOL, HIVE, and the rest of the portfolio. We'll see if that works out or if future me ends up regretting it. Either way, it'll all be documented here. Final Thoughts -------------- I'm not pretending to be some crypto guru. This is just my portfolio, my strategy, and my attempt to build something over time. There will be good trades, bad trades, and probably a few mistakes along the way. That's part of the process. Starting Point Since this is the first portfolio update, I wanted to establish a baseline. My total capital deposited so far is $1,111.88. The current portfolio value is approximately $1,116.15, putting me up about $4.27 (+0.38%). It's not life-changing money, but every journey starts somewhere. The goal right now isn't massive gains—it's building positions, staying consistent with contributions every two weeks, and letting time do some of the heavy lifting.
