The Grove; Fairfax
There are so many things that you can only experience in LA ; from crazy Tim-Burton themed restaurants and immersive art, to elaborate Halloween decor and UFO's being investigated in the middle of a shopping mall. There is simply so many unique locations in Los Angeles that you would not be aware of from reading your usual guidebooks. Neighborhoods like Los Feliz, Hollywood, Topanga , Culver City, Faifax and Downtown LA are among my favorite locations to find quirky and unusual galleries, shops and experiences.
For Halloween I thought I would produce a blog /photo series on the strange, unusual, and somewhat lesser known attractions and oddities in Los Angeles I have experienced so far; and a few I hope to visit in the future; here is a taste of a few such places.
Hauser and Wirth; Arts District
Clifton's Republic; Downtown
I will likely group most of my installments into neighborhoods; starting with the Arts District. I have so many photos of that area because they have much weirdness to offer. Other neighborhoods and attractions I may have to revisit as I do not think I have quite captured them in images.
