"Eyeball Soup"

I have been constructing quite a few eyeballs for my assemblages lately; stay with me and I will share recipes. This first piece is tentatively titled "Eyeball Soup"

I have another use for the image that has nothing to do with soup; but with my "Post Apocalyptic Fairy Houses" that I will share with Steemit when more complete.

Here are two other eyeballs I have constructed recently; followed by a fourth in process.

I begin by pruning the top of a soda bottle so that it is eyball-shaped; then I paste fine tissue paper to the bottle with "Liquidex Professional, Gloss Medium and Varnish"

I underpaint the iris then paint over it immediately with other colors so they wash into each other, letting the black of the pupil spill out as well.

After it dries I apply multible layers of acrylic pouring medium and paint.

Here is how it looked when I left it; I will allow it to dry before I assault it further. It will look very different when dry so I am looking forward to aseeing the results.
