For some a week now I have been administering a certain drugs to my poultry birds to cure the chronic respiratory diseases that has been disturbing my birds for some more than a week now now. But I must confess that am not convinced about the result am seeing because I haven't noticed any sign of progress within them and that has brought me in to conclusions that there are factors or step I must follow for my birds to get better.
One of the things I noticed is the selection of appropriate drugs. Am not saying that the drug I bought is not effective but I know that drugs can be effective more than each other based on the body system. Since there are many drugs which can be used to cure the mentioned diseases so I am considering of choosing another drugs for my birds since the one I got before doesn't give me the results I desire.
Using the appropriate drinkers
Since the drugs for the chronic respiratory diseases (CRD) are water soluble and one have to mixed them with water for the birds to drink. As my birds have now grown bigger, the easily mess up their drinkers especially with their feces and which if they continue to drink from it can hinder the effectiveness of the drugs. So I suggest that I got a more spacious bowl drinkers rather than using the small red covered drinkers which I thought is mostly useful during brooding.
