I'm going to write a Mother's Day special. I don't know what a strange silence is inside me today, and my heart just wants to write, if only I could write...

I'm writing this letter tonight, when everything is quiet and the world is asleep. Perhaps these are the words I could never say during the day.

My topic today is about someone whose gratitude I can never repay. Yes, she is my mother. I can never repay your gratitude. I remember it today too.

Now I used to get tired, you were my strength. When I fell, you picked me up without complaint or expectation.

Now that I'm starting to understand life a little, I realize that your every word, every tooth, and every prayer was meant for me. I may not have always been the perfect son, but you have always been the perfect mother.

Mom, if I ever hurt you, I apologize from the bottom of my heart. I can't say I can repay all your sacrifices, but I can definitely say that I always want to make you feel proud.

This letter tonight is not just a message, but a feeling that I love you so much, more than words can ever explain.

Good night Mom… and thank you for everything.
