🌟Ecency is not my first step into the world of blogging and writing, what do you think? I like to write blogs and share my world with others since I was 13 years old.
Writing is something I've always liked and when I discovered Blogger which was/is Google's site to create blogs. Before blogs were very popular and I was reading and following many of them, I met many things that I am passionate about today in those blogs, I liked them so much that I decided I wanted to have one, to write my own.
When I opened my first blog it was like a personal blog, I showed my drawings, things that interested me, cosplay, opinions, some Japanese fashion and makeup.
The first anime convention I went to was when I was 11 years old, at the conventions I met a Japanese fashion style called lolita, where the aesthetics is based on the Victorian and baroque era, style that today I see because since then I love it, at the time I met him and wanted to know more I searched the internet finding many blogs of girls who talked about the style and that was my first approach with blogs in addition to becoming passionate about Japanese fashion in general, so when I opened my blog I knew I wanted to talk about Japanese fashion. My first post was in 2012 and I kept posting on that blog until 2015.
Here I leave these pictures of the entries, I was very careful to make everything very nice, arranging the text, putting gifs, making drawings and playing with the visual themes of the blog. I remember that I learned a little bit of html to be able to put more things and decorate better.
During my first blog I opened a youtube channel, I was not doing bad, I was very happy with the reception that my content began to have, my videos had about 400 views, I know that today that is nothing, but before it was a good figure hahahaha if you had 1000 views I was considered a great one.
So because of that I decided to open two blogs, one where I would focus on Japanese fashion linking it with my youtube channel where I would upload makeup tutorials and everything I talked about and another one to upload my writings and drawings.
The Japanese fashion blog was doing well, I wrote about various styles, the videos on my channel, my trips to conventions, I also started to make content putting together outfits and more personal fashion or at least how I carried my style inspired by what I liked.
I published for quite some time until 2018 when I was about to leave college, a lot of things happened to me at that time, not pleasant so I ended up walking away from my blogs and YouTube channel leaving them completely.
Until a while later someone told my brother about Ecency and he passed the information on to me, from the beginning I liked the idea because it was writing on your own blog! Something that I loved and called my attention a lot, with time I was getting into it and now I want to be constant and upload a lot of things.
✨Maybe I'll go up talking about some of my old blog entries, they're still there! With my photos of going to conventions and all, who would think that a blog is a nice place to keep memories, not only because of the photos, but it is also accompanied by a text of how you felt or thought at that time, ideas and creations.
