UP IN THE SWISS ALPS!
Hello everyone! This is my post for today's Monomad challenge!
I'm sharing some photographs I took from my recent trip to Switzerland with some friends and our beautiful German Shepherd Melly! We went hiking on a skiing slope which leads to a wonderful plateau with a 360° panoramic view! On the opposite mountains as you can see there was still a lot of snow and the walk up there wasn't the easiest due to some bits and parts of the road being covered with almost a meter of snow! However, it was fun, yet challenging reaching the top! During the summer, we usually go mushroom hunting on that particular plateau where you'll find the BOLETUS EDULIS and CHANTRELLE mushrooms, which are edible and great to cook with! We could spend hours there searching for mushrooms! The view on the top is priceless and just gives you a sense of being on top of the world forgetting about all your troubles and worries in life. It is a place the moment is all there is!
