The proposed Combating Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing, and Counterfeiting Act of 2017 seeks to make it a crime to have assets worth more than $10,000, and yes this includes cryptocurrency and your Steemit account. This bill seeks to steal your hard earned wealth and remove all the privacy and anonymity of bitcoin and Steemit. We need to contact our Congressman and tell them that this is not okay.
