Here's two different example scenarios of how someone would feel.

A. I got 100 USD upvoted on my post so far, someone comes in and downvotes away 70 USD. I feel like crap now because someone downvoted me, other people are also pissed off on my behalf as "it looks unjust" in what has happened. I barely get huge upvotes, the one time I do someone takes it away. "This platform is aweful, I just lost 70% of my rewards because one whale wants to control who gets what, I am telling people to steer clear from this place it's insane!"

B. Posts are capped at 50 USD, I get 50 USD worth of upvotes, nobody downvotes me. I feel happy to have achieved the highest possible reward for a post. "Woo hoo, this platform is neat!" I tell people.
