July 4th is Independence Day in America. In 1776, we became a free nation and we have become the beacon of light in the world for freedom. Our Independence is something I am greatful for, and I love to celebrate the 4th of July.
This day is marked with celebrations. Fireworks shows, barbeques and family get togethers are what makes this Summer celebration great. I have so many great memories of celebrations with friends and family watching fireworks light up the sky above us. The fireworks symbolize the rockets lobbed above the patriots who fought for their Independence.
Freedom needs to be constantly fought for. Never become complacent about the freedoms you hold dear. Take a moment to thank a veteran today and enjoy the freedoms you have.
