I found a new seller that seemed reputable yesterday on Facebook market, selling some old and in super shitty condition silver coins:
I already owned some of them in much better condition but he had them on a bundle sale for 22 euros so I quickly pulled the trigger and ordered them.
And unless I get scammed I think that was a very sweet deal. Despite their super shitty condition, silver is silver and with silver prices as are, I probably paid a "negative" premium!
For example this Napoleon coin has 8.35 g of silver inside. Not to mention that it is a new addition to my small collection:
Same with this two dracma coin, another 8.35 g of silver... okay maybe a bit less because of the hole, lol
I am a bit too lazy to run the math on the rest but even the small ones have around 2 grams of silver each like the 50 cents from the cretan state, before Crete became a part of Greece:
All in all I am really happy with this deal. I will probably keep the ones I don't have and try to sell or exchange the rest!
