It's been almost a year and something since I got for myself a Lithops plant. In case you are unaware, these are succulent plants that look like weird stones. Heck, even their genus name, Lithops, is greek for...stone!
Here's how mine looked on 12th of June, last year:
Now, these are really boring plants but I guess they make a nice weird exhibit. Honestly, I have it next to a window and most of the times I forget it even exists. It's not like it needs my care anyways. So it minds its own bussiness and I mind my own. I have probably watered it 2 maybe 3 times in the year I have it. Which is probably more water then it would have gotten in its natural enviroment, lol.
Anyways, I checked how it was doing today and it turns ou it's growing a new pair of leaves!
Who knows, maybe next year I will even witness it flowering. Till then I will continue taking care of it by not taking care of it. Apparently, it works!
