The mythological Microsoft Paint will become obsolete next version of windows, and it brings a lot of memories from the times I spent hours playing with it (army can be boring -,-)..
As tribute to MS Paint, I'd like to give an easy guide to create cool psychedelic shapes using MS Paint's most amazing tool - the Curve.
With this guide You can create shapes like this:

So here we go!
Draw a perfect Oval, (pressing Shift makes it symetrical).
Add points using brush on the 4 corners.
- Add points in between each pair of points. try to find the straight part in the curve, that's the middle:
- Fill in the rest of the points by measuring with your eyes. do it twice. Add 2 big points wherever you want. the location will determine how your shape is going to look.
the result needs to look like this:
- Now, pick a number. In my example, I chose 9. I recommend choosing an odd number.
Select Curve tool. with a different color, click on one of the points on the oval, and drag it to the X point ahead. X is the number You've picked.
Then, choose one of the two big points, and click it once.
And finally, click the second big point.
Here is a diagram of the process and result:
- Repeat the process from the last point (X'th after the first), Or from the second one to those You've started with. In my example, I continue from the point that I'v reached.
Keep using the reference points at same order as before.

Almost there...
And done! You can erase the oval and points if You want.
This is very simple example, in fact the sky is the limit! You can do some really crazy things with this, just use Your creativity (hint: oval is an option, what would happen with a square? or reference points which are not fixed?)
