'Artist At Work.'
This is my entry for this weeks Wednesday Walk challenge organized by @tattoodjay
I never know what I am going to encounter when strolling the streets of downtown Brisbane. But on this walk I was delighted to find an artist at work and naturally had to pause to admire his talented art.
I couldn't linger too long as I was with friends who weren't into photography and started to move off just as I got close enough to take these photos. I'm not sure about the technique this artist was using but he was blowing through a white tube and had an air tank attached to his back so it is obviously some form of air brushing.
I was amazed at the position he was in as he painted. He squatted on the ground leaning over his work. That surely must get uncomfortable after a while.......but perhaps I'm showing my age as I know I couldn't produce anything worthwhile working from the ground like that.
He caused a lot of interest as other by-standers were mesmerized with his art and enjoyed watching the process.
From what I could see, most of his work seemed to feature Australiana with kookaburras, dancing aboriginals and local scenery. I certainly hope he got to sell some of his artwork as he deserved to get paid for his very creative efforts.
THANK YOU FOR VIEWING. HAVE A GREAT DAY.
