Scarborough Sunsets.

I have chosen three of my favourite sunset images which I have captured from my home town in Scarborough, Queensland, Australia. Scarborough is situated on the northern part of the Redcliffe Peninsula in Queensland, Australia. The main beach overlooks Moreton Island to the east. It is a suburb well known for its popular seafood industry.
The boat harbour is a hub of activity, especially in the weekends where fishing, kayaking, jet ski-ing are enjoyed year round due to its temperate climate. This image was captured on the northern point of Scarborough which is not far from the Marina, the Boat Club and the Holiday Village.
The marina is home to cruise boats, scuba charters and tour operators. Scarborough beach is a popular destination for holiday makers and was named Australia’s Friendliest Beach in 2004. The parks and esplanades provide great bike tracks and walkways and the village has a wonderful selection of restaurants, cafes and shops.
