'D' is for...…….
This is my entry for the next round of the #AlphabetHunt challenge for the Feel Good Community hive-190931 by the very talented
This dancer radiates pure joy as she performs the flamingo at one of our local music festivals. Unfortunately these festivals have been postponed due to the Corona virus, but hopefully we will be able to enjoy such occasions again soon as there is no better way to lift one's spirits than by singing and dancing. Don't you agree?
Double Decker Bus.
She may no longer be carrying passengers but she is providing a service just as important to the public these days. What better way to re-cycle a double decker bus than to turn it into a café on wheels?
This beautiful red bus is situated at Old Town Petrie in Queensland, Australia and is a popular venue for hungry and thirsty market shoppers and stall owners.
Door Knocker:
Nailed to a weathered wooden door and painted in shades of rust by nature herself, this aged door knocker is an artistic thing of beauty (in my humble opinion.)
Dinghy:
When you live on an island one of your 'must have' commodities has to be a dingy. Not to get you from the mainland to the island...…...but to go fishing. Fishing has been one of life's pleasures for me and I know I'd make sacrifices to own my own dingy if I live on Bribie Island in Queensland. Heck, I'd even trade in my car for a boat and walk to the supermarket if I lived on Bribie Island. (lol)
Dead Wood:
It might be dead, sunburnt, overlooked and past its 'use by' date as far as contributing the way she was designed to do, but this gnarled old tree stump with all its twists and turns is still a thing of beauty, (in my humble opinion)
And I am sure many an insect or reptile would be proud to call this 'has been' home, protected from the storms of life and nestled within its many nooks and crannies.
Daisies:
And last, but certainly not least is this trio of African yellow daisies.
And to continue with my #alwaysadigital indulgence and to emphasize the wonderful 'FEEL GOOD' theme for this community, here are a couple of digital versions of these daisies.
THANK SO MUCH FOR VIEWING. HAVE A GREAT DAY.
