Today has been a very busy day and unfortunately I didn't realize that my sweet girl's food was finished! Since my dog doesn't eat dry food, I prepare her meals at home. I usually make 3 - 4 days' worth of food in multiples and keep it in the freezer, but I couldn't prepare it yesterday because I didn't have time. Today I had to prepare something urgent and I thought what would be the most practical. I always keep chicken, fish, red meat in the freezer for him. Since he was hungry, I decided to prepare a recipe with fish because it would cook the fastest since I couldn't make an elaborate meal that would take too long. By the way, my dog loves fish! You will see the photos below, when he smelled the fish, his eyes got big πΊπ€ππ
I usually use vegetables and rice in fish recipes, but as I said, I didn't have time for rice, so I had ready cooked wheat and I wanted to use it. I cooked my fish in a pan without oil and steamed it.
Then I added the cooked fish to the wheat and mixed it and it tasted really delicious. And I easily saved the day.
Unfortunately, my dog doesn't accept kibble, not even wet food. He wants the food that I prepare at home and he has his own taste. He is very picky and refuses to eat even after days of starvation. I have a very hard time with food, I try new recipes all the time and he eats very little of it with pleasure. Since he doesn't eat vegetables, I usually puree them and add them to his food. When I put them in pieces, he separates them and never eats them. He is a very intelligent dog and it is impossible to fool him!
As I am a woman in love with dogs, my intention was to be happy by getting one for our family. But I didn't even realize that I had bought a little troublemaker! Ahh when he was little, when he tore everything to pieces... Every day I was crying and taking migraine medicine. He is so awake and mischievous that he has me wrapped around his finger.
