Appreciate the deep thinking you’re putting into this. As a father of three bio kids and an adoptive father of three also, I agree with your recognition of the weight of the responsibility associated with both choices.

What kids need more than anything is stability and consistency. With that said, your decision, imho, should rest upon whether you’ve been fortunate enough to find a woman with whom you’re ready to share a lifelong commitment of partnership in everything.

PS: My wife’s and my decision to adopt has taken us down the most challenging most rewarding path we’ve ever experienced. It’s not for the faint hearted, but the blessings are beyond counting and impossible to fully articulate.
