When you think of horror games, you probably think of a supernatural killer chasing you. Maybe you think of a ghost or something rather than a physical person. How many of you think of being a dentist for a shark though? Alice Games just launched their Shark Dentist game page, available for pre-order right now.
Most people despise going to the dentist, I know I do. It is not exactly the number one place anyone wants to go in life. Okay, maybe there are a few that enjoy it, you do you.
I never thought about being a dentist for a shark though. It makes no sense, they have many teeth, replacing damage/lost as they age. Who said a horror game must make sense? Saw is about a guy that somehow has a mass kidnapping ring, can setup elaborate traps, some in the eye of the public, and he did this for a long time. Hell, he died before the police got him, I believe.
If you can stomach the premise for Saw, you can stomach the premise of Shark Dentist, I am sure.
Just don’t cause your patient any pain, it may cost you your head.
There is literally nothing available about why you are a shark dentist. Just here is a shark who has skipped a few decades of brushing and flossing. Fix them.
You have many tools at your disposal such as a scalpel, a grinder, various saws, and more. Just do not cause your patient pain if you want to go home after your shift.
According to the Steam page,, Shark Dentist features a few Roguelike elements. Namely in the damage to the teeth that you have to repair. I am sure there also some variety in the pain level each patient can handle, their temperament, etc.
There is currently no date set for release of Shark Dentist so wishlist this bad boy and wait in the waiting room like the rest of us.
