The arcade Robocop game, by Data East is getting a remake for the Commodore Amiga. A fan is remaking the arcade game for fans. Graphically, this is an impressive port. There are many corrections are planned in this fan remake. Fans of 80s arcade games will be right at home with this port if the video is anything to go by.
The gameplay here is set on one plain. This means your only way to dodge bullets or other projectiles is to jump or duck. That means a lot of unfair hits. This raises the difficulty quite a bit.
Graphically, Data East had a hit on their hands. Fans were able to get past the difficulty due to the license and visuals. If you are financially capable, you might be able to see the ending to this classic arcade title.
Just be warned there is no tutorial, there is no hand holding, this is classic hard as nails action.
