A lot of gamers missed out on this one. Atari was not in a position to advertise it very well, and their game lineup was lacking to say the least. They spent a lot of money on licenses for titles such as Batman when they probably would have been better off spending that money on advertising so gamers knew about the hand held in the first place.
If you are a fan of classic literature, definitely check out Dracula on the Atari Lynx. It was released around the time of the movie, Bram Stoker's Dracula, but it is based on the book and it is an adventure title where you click on items and interact with the environment to solve puzzles.
Such a unique take on the license, and one that for me at least stands out as a beautiful showcase game for the Atari Lynx.
