I was born in 1976 so I kind of missed the whole BBS thing. When I was old enough to understand what computers really could do we lived in an area that calling down the street was basically long distance due to regions and county lines.
I remember being in school and sitting on the sidelines of conversations about BBS's and the like. I had no clue what they were talking about. We had magazines and such but I was more into Gamepro and EGM than I was Ahoy or Compute! (although later I began a lifelong quest to own those mags too).
Thank you for the support. It is greatly appreaciated.
