I wonder how long before there is a cheaper streaming option for the cable companies themselves? I know if you have Comcast, you can get their app and log in and watch where ever like you would at home. What I wonder is how long that is opened up to non-subscribers to their physical connection.
Probably never will be due to geographical restraints.
What is probably going to happen is further and more consolidating of services, options, producers of the content itself. Such as how Disney acquired Fox and Comcast acquired, I think Universal.
