I was only a fan of the original animated feature - the sequel and other movies in this franchise just didn't hit with me for some reason. I agree with you on Emma Stone, she is one of those actresses that I take notice when I hear she is in a movie. I don't watch them all but I at least check them out due to her involvement. Hoping this one is a hit for her.
