RE: Let's Play "Freezing Knights" (PICO-8) - A Surprisngly Warm Adventure
When I first heard about the Pico-8, I figured it would be simple releases, not really games, and for the most part it was. Then as developers and fans got comfortable with the platform, things improved

RE: Sonic the Hedgehog, He has been a gaming icon for generations
Exactly! They had an amazing formula, a character that could do more than just 2D side scrolling games, support group full of characters with charm and character and all they really did with it was more

RE: Might And Magic 2 | First Cave
That is how I am as I get older, I play these older, often hard as nails, games and when I have gotten enough fun, I drop it. If I want to see later levels or something, I hit up a long play on YouTube.

RE: My Played Video Games Review: Mega Man Soccer for the Super Nintendo
The one sport, I do not believe Mario has tackled yet. Nevermind, just looked, Mario did soccer but it was on Nintendo Switch so Mega Man beat him by decades

RE: Sonic the Hedgehog, He has been a gaming icon for generations
I was always more a fan of Mario than I was Sonic, well after the first game. I enjoyed the original Sonic the Hedgehog but the franchise fell off the deep end for me after the original. I just could not

RE: Might And Magic 2 | First Cave
Oh man, this brings me back to the classic computer RPG days. Might and Magic, Wizardry, Alternate Reality, etc were all titles I loved to hate back in the day, and cost me so much allowance money spent

RE: Let's Play "COFFEE MAKER" (PICO-8) - Becoming A Quick Barista
Finally someone else that knows what the Pico-8 is and how cool it is. There are some amazing games for this device, I have covered several here on Hive for years. Some absolutely amaze me in how they

RE: Leisure Suit Larry, humour and adult adventures
This was a game franchise I was interested in trying out but by the time I got a chance to, the earlier games were just not in my wheelhouse anymore as I felt that game play style was too archaic at that

I am just as amazed, that is why I write articles and make videos available. I am a fan at heart and love these projects and love reading about how others feel about them. So many awesome projects in the

RE: Rough Waves Turns Doom into Twisted Metal on Water
I thought so too, I had to share it. I mean, we have people making Mario Kart clones and flight simulators in Quake, but Doom? Total conversions usually stick to it still being an FPS, this makes a whole

RE: New Retro Gaming Focused Publisher Emerges to Publish on Nintendo Switch, Sony PlayStation, More
I agree 100%, story lines and epic adventures are awesome but at its core, a game that is just pick up and go can be just as entertaining and engulfing. I hope we see more pick up and play titles coming

Thank you. I have to look up Balloon Fight. That game has been one I have never checked out. I am a huge fan of Joust though and would love to check out more games similar to it.

That is a great way to describe this game. It looks like it is just going to be a fun game to play. Sadly, people today will conider that "simple" or not worth their time. They will complain

I completely agree with you. I do not understand why fast food places do not adopt a floating price like most sit down places do. Whether it is called "early bird" or "brunch prices"

I agree, it is a natural thing to adjust for supply and demand but imagine if there was no backlash on this and stores like Walmart or Costco decided to implement a similar AI managed pricing system. You

Lowering prices during non-peak hours is something I noticed was not mentioned by their CEO, nor any article I sourced on this. Only raising prices. Also, no one mentioned staff getting a boost in pay

RE: Crystal Story: Dawn of Dusk – Hold off for some Updates
I had never heard of this one but I am a sucker for overhead Zelda style games. Thanks for the heads up on this one, I am going to check it out but hold off on that purchase button for a bit.
