If you are a fan of real-time strategy (RTS) games then you probably know the name, Command & Conquer. In June 2020, gamers feasted their eyes on the remaster of this classic title. What is interesting about this release is that it includes all three expansion packs, modernized multiplayer, and much more. Now, on Steam, it comes at a very affordable price, less than a Wendy’s Biggie Bag.
While we may not be able to enjoy titles like Command & Conquer the same as we did back in the day, these remaster releases come close. For one, you can switch back and forth between modern and classic graphics any time you want. I like this option. Especially when you can do it in real time.
Right now, on Steam, you can grab Command & Conquer Remastered Collection for $2.99, not bad. You can also sign up for EA Play at $4.99 a month and enjoy C&C along with many other titles.
Command & Conquer Remastered Collection features over 100 campaign missions, over 250 multiplayer maps, steam trading cards, and so much more.
I could rattle off more of the details from the Steam store page but at the end of the day, you already know if you are buying Command & Conquer Remastered Collection.
If you are unsure, check out the gameplay videos on the Steam Store page, YouTube as well. I understand, even at under $3, it is still a risky purchase if you are not sure you will enjoy it or not (and let’s face it, money is tight all around right now).
Me, I already own this collection. I bought it in a 50% off sale ($10) and enjoy it quite a bit. Course, I am a fan of real-time strategy games so that helps.
