Here's a thought.
The pharmaceutical industry has been around since about 1859, this is when the world's first factory for the production of only "medicines" appeared. We can safely say that it has been 200+ years. If you aren't a chemist and don't own the patent, you can't make what they sell - they derived the medicine from plants and add a bunch of other stuff. $$$
Traditional medicine, also referred to as plant medicine, has been used over 4000+ years by people such as the Chinese, the Tibetans, the Indians (from India), etc. The mass production of these plants is what the earth does. Plants can be freely picked by any human and used for healing and killing by those who have the knowledge and wisdom to do such things. Virtually free.
Compare the above to a child and an adult. Let's say we ask the child what life is all about, questions ranging from paying rent, to having roommates, to love and loss, to what it is like to raise children, etc. The child might hit upon some truth and say something truly intelligent but the child, for the most part, is going to be speaking about things he/she has no knowledge or wisdom of.
Western medicine is a lot like a child telling the adult (Eastern medical practices that have been around for over 4000+ years) what is what. They, the child, occasionally get things right but most blow a lot of hot air, they have established a home in your home, and they suck up a lot of money. 🤣😁😜
