I usually agree with Aware Wolf's memes but here goes: BOOM! My kid's cancer is cured. Damn, didn't work. I guess I have to change something else. I'm in control, dammit! No, I'm not. But I am in control of myself and how I adapt to shitty situations. And that is how to become happy.
Or change your perspective. Just because you aren't feeling happy, does not mean there is anything wrong with your circumstances. Uprooting and changing everything any time something makes you feel miserable is not a healthy way of dealing with life problems. Try to take a step back and assess with an impartial mind. If people are hurting you ask yourself... Is it something they realize they are doing? If it is unintentional, try being honest with them in a respectful way. If they can't respect you enough to listen and help find a solution, then look at pushing people, places, or things from your life
Nope. Changing "something," doesn't always change the thing that makes you miserable. Sometimes, you *don't* have control over the things that cause your misery. That's where people need help that no one ever seems to offer. But most people like to pretend that scenario doesn't exist, and only occurs in the imaginations of "negative" people, or as a result of "making excuses." The typical dismissal and disregard expressed in those contexts, is actually a shield, meant to protect someone from realizing that not everything is in control, and not everything that remains wrong in people's lives is about "making excuses."
Hello Everyone is unhappy I will change something!!!
