How the kid looks like more, mom or dad?
Well, for those of you who arrived here wondering, "Is that Mommy? Yes, I'm the mother of a beautiful little dog named Dorie, but no... I won't talk about her today - she laughs - I'll talk about my family, from a daughter's point of view.
Since I was born I've always been associated with my dad, that I look a lot like him, that I'm a copy and that I got the traits from that side of my family. (They are half Arab)
On the other hand, my younger brother is associated with my mother, who are identical, who are copies and who look very much like my mother's family, and blah blah blah. (Dominican descent)
I've always been bad at analyzing this kind of thing, for me everyone is different, and I find it hard to tell someone ¨ay look you look like fulano¨, unless the similarity is very clear.
By the way, both my parents are always happy with these comments, because they have a similar child each. I imagine it's some kind of satisfaction for the parents. I'll understand when I'm a mother.
Now, what makes me laugh most about our case, is that they ALSO say that my brother and I are identical . - he laughs - and here I really get confused. They tell you that you look like your father and not so much like your mother, but you are an identical copy of your brother who doesn't look like your father but like your mother... In short... hypocrisy. - he laughs - no, that's a lie, but if it confuses me, I don't think I'll ever understand.

¿Cómo se parece más el niño, mamá o papá?
Bueno, para los que llegaron aquí preguntándose ¿Y tripode es mamá? Si, soy mamá de una hermosa perrita llamada Dorie, pero no... no hablaré de ella hoy - se ríe - hablaré de mi familia, desde el punto de vista de hija.
Desde que nací siempre me han asociado con mi papá, que me parezco mucho a él, que soy una copia y que saqué los rasgos de ese lado de mi familia. (Son medio árabes)
Por otro lado a mi hermano menor, lo asocian con mi mamá, que son idénticos, que son copia y que se parece mucho a la familia de mi mamá, y bla bla bla. (Descendencia dominicana)
Yo siempre he sido mala analizando este tipo de cosas, para mí todo el mundo es diferente, y se me hace difícil decirle a alguien ¨ay mira te pareces a fulano¨, a menos que sea muy clara la similitud.
Por cierto, mis dos padres siempre andan felices con estos comentarios, porque tienen un hijo parecido cada uno. Me imagino que es algún tipo de satisfacción para los padres. Entenderé cuando sea madre.
Ahora bien, lo que más me causa risa de nuestro caso, es que TAMBIEN, dicen que mi hermano y yo somos idénticos... - se ríe - y aquí es que de verdad me confundo. Como rayos te dicen que te pareces a tu papa y no tanto a tu mamá, pero si eres copia idéntica de tu hermano que no se parece a tu papa pero si a tu mamá... En fín... la hipocresía. - se ríe - noo, mentira, pero si me confunde, creo que nunca lo entenderé.
