WINNERS

This week has been very wonderful for the contest, we had 48 wonderful proposals full of motivation, reflective phrases, good advices and above all full of positive energy.

This week's phrase was: "Learn from the mistakes of others. You won't live long enough to make them all." - Groucho Marx

First of all i must say that i am very grateful to all the participants and those who helped make this contest possible, the truth is that it was very difficult to choose the winners, but you have to choose, here they are:

Esta semana ha sido muy buena para el concurso, tuvimos 48 maravillosas propuestas llenas de motivación, frases reflexivas y sobre todo llenas de energía positiva.

La frase de esta semana fué: “Aprende de los errores de los demás. No vivirás lo suficiente para cometerlos todos.” - Groucho Marx

Antes que nada debo decir que estoy muy agradecida con todos los participantes y los que ayudaron a que este concurso sea posible, la verdad es que fué muy difícil elegir los ganadores, pero hay que elegir, aquí están:

This week something very interesting happened in this award, it should be emphasized that it is the most important for me. Because the comments are what make us meet new people, share and see the point of view of others. If there are no comments, there is no community and if there is no community we are not human.

But what happened? Well, we have two winners in this position, @zanoz and @argeh because they were the ones who committed the most in the participants' entries, but the tie is not the curious thing... the curious thing is, that Miss @zanoz did not submit a post, I imagine she left it for last or forgot about it. But in the same way she shared with her colleagues and left good comments.

For this reason, @argeh takes the 6HBI of the prize, and I take out 3HBI as a gift to @zanoz for his wonderful work and to keep him in that mood and thirst for commenting.

Esta semana pasó algo muy interesante en este premio, cabe recalcar que es el más importante para mí ¿Por qué? Porque los comentarios son los que hacen que conozcamos gente nueva, que compartamos y que veamos el punto de vista de los demás. Si no hay comentarios, no hay comunidad y si no hay comunidad no somos humanos.

Pero, ¿Qué sucedió? Bueno, tenemos dos ganadoras en este puesto, @zanoz y @argeh porque fueron las que más se comprometieron en las entradas de los participantes, pero el empate no es lo curioso... lo curioso es, que la señorita @zanoz no presentó post, me imagino que lo dejó para último o se le olvidó. Pero de igual manera compartió con sus compañeros y dejó buenos comentarios.

Por esta razón, @argeh se lleva los 6HBI del premio, y saco 3HBI como regalo a @zanoz por su maravilloso trabajo y para que siga con ese ánimo y sed de comentar.

The first place goes to @soyalex. Because she explains a very interesting example from real life and besides dealing with the week's topic, she makes us reflect that many times we don't know that we are living in hell and that we are making mistakes, we don't know that what we are living in our house is wrong and that we cannot tolerate some types of attitudes, we don't know that there are healthy relationships, good partners and friends... we don't know sometimes that there are ways to live in peace and harmony both with ourselves and with those around us.

Sometimes we simply don't know, and THEREFORE, it is always good to try to put ourselves in the other's shoes, and if we see someone close to us living a situation like that, try to advise them, instead of judging them.

El primer lugar va para @soyalex. Porque ella explica un ejemplo muy interesante de la vida real y además de tratar el tema de la semana, nos hace reflexionar que muchas veces no sabemos que estamos viviendo un infierno y que estamos cometiendo errores, no sabemos que lo que vivimos en nuestra casa esta mal y que no podemos tolerar algunos tipos de actitudes, no sabemos que existen relaciones saludables, ni buenos compañeros y amigos... no sabemos a veces que hay formas de vivir en paz y armonía tanto con nosotros mismos como con los que nos rodean.

A veces simplemente no sabemos, y POR ESO, siempre es bueno tratar de ponerse en el lugar del otro, y si vemos que algún cercano está viviendo una situación como esa, tratar de aconsejarlo, en vez de juzgarlo.

Second place goes to @antoniarhuiz. She begins her reflection with this complementary phrase:

My mother used to say: "If you see that one of them throws himself off the cliff, are you going to do the same? Many people don't even learn from their own mistakes and live tripping over the same stone.

I must admit that it reminded me of my parents, they ALWAYS told me that! And I'm very happy that they brought me up this way, because it made me understand that I don't have to be the same as anyone else to be good. I can be myself without having to repeat myself or follow anyone!

Similarly, we must always be on the lookout for improvement, because we can't waste our time repeating the same mistakes over and over again - let's open our eyes and learn from our mistakes and those of others!

El segundo lugar va para @antoniarhuiz. Ella inicia su reflexion con esta frase complementaria:

Mi mamá decía: "Si tu ves que uno se tira por el barranco, ¿Tú vas a hacer lo mismo?". Muchas personas no aprenden ni de sus propios errores y viven tropezando con la misma piedra.

Debo admitir que me acordó a mis padres, ellos SIEMPRE me decían eso!! Y me alegro mucho que me hayan educado así, porque eso me hizo entender que no tengo que ser igual que nadie para ser buena. Puedo ser yo misma sin necesidad de repetir, ni seguir a nadie!

De igual forma, tenemos que estar pendientes siempre a mejorar, porque no podemos perder nuestro tiempo repitiendo los mismos errores una y otra vez. ¡Abramos los ojos y aprendamos de nuestros errores y los de los demás!

Third place goes to @Isabelpena. She tells us how she was able to recognise the mistakes her parents made and did her best not to repeat them with her own children.

The best thing is to be able to understand the mistakes of others and not make them ourselves, and I think that the most difficult mistakes to see are those made by our parents. Because we tend to think that they are Gods or have superpowers and they are not wrong, or that perhaps they have no right to be wrong. And that is not the case.

Sometimes we even take for granted everything they tell us because ¨tienen plus experiencia¨, but it's a good thing they did realise and didn't repeat the same pattern with their children, this way society moves forward and doesn't get stuck.

El tercer lugar va para @isabelpena. Ella nos cuenta cómo pudo reconocer los errores que hicieron sus padres e hizo lo posible por no volver a repetirlos con sus propios hijos.

Lo mejor es poder entender los errores de los demás y no cumplirlos nosotros mismos, y creo que los errores más difíciles de ver son los que hacen nuestros padres. Porque tendemos a pensar que ellos son Dioses o tienen superpoderes y no se equivocan, o que tal vez no tienen derecho a equivocarse. Y no es así.

A veces hasta damos por cierto y verdadero todo lo que nos dicen porque ¨tienen más experiencia¨, pero que bueno que sí se dió cuenta y no repetió el mismo patrón con sus hijos, de esta forma es que la sociedad va avanzando y no se queda estancada.

Thank you very much to all of you for participating, if I could I would reward you all because you always prepare very good tickets, but well, soon we will be able to.

I really liked this sentence because it is true, we do not have so much time neither to repeat the mistakes, nor to make the mistakes that our close ones already made. We can be more intelligent with that, and now that we have opened our eyes we can see further.

La semana pasada se acercaron algunas personas, preguntando sobre la forma en que se evalúan las publicaciones, y la verdad es que he dejado pasar muchas cosas porque mi corazón no dá para que no participen todas, pero como se están sintiendo incomodos, y como cada semana es más difícil elegir voy a comenzar a ser más estrictas con los reglamentos. Porque realmente no es justo que gane una persona que no siguió las reglas para poder participar.
