Blogging Challenge - Part 03 - Day 04
If money wasn't a problem, where in the world would you live? And why?
Without thinking twice, and without finding out much, I would move directly to Barcelona, Oh beautiful Barcelona! But why Barcelona? First of all, because it is home to the University Elisava, which is one of the most prepared universities in Hotel and Restaurant Interior Design. Even though ¨mejores ¨ is in the United States, I wouldn't like to live there, design is usually more industrial and modernist and my style goes more to the minimalist vintage. And from here comes my second because.
I love Europe, even if I haven't visited it yet, living anywhere in Barcelona gives me the possibility to travel to any of the other countries easily, cheaply and by train. And here if possible Europe is the cradle of Design in general, both interior, architecture, fashion, graphics. All types of good designs. And I would love to be able to know them all and visit many of the corners of Europe.

Si el dinero no fuera un problema, ¿Dónde vivirías? ¿Y por qué?
Sin pensarlo dos veces, y sin averiguar mucho, me mudaría directamente a Barcelona, Oh hermosa Barcelona! Pero, ¿Por qué Barcelona? Primero porque en ella se encuentra la Universidad Elisava es una de las universidades más preparadas en Diseño de interiores Hoteleros y Restaurantes. A pesar de que las ¨mejores¨ están en Estados Unidos, no me gustaría vivir allá, el diseño es normalmente mas industrial y modernista y mi estilo va mas a lo vintage minimalista. y de aquí sale mi segundo porque.
AMO Europa, aunque no lo haya visitado todavía, vivir en cualquier sitio de Barcelona me da la posibilidad de viajar a cualquiera de los otros países fácilmente, barato y en tren. Y aquí si cabe que Europa es la cuna del Diseño en general, tanto de interiores, arquitectura, moda, gráfico. Todos los tipos de diseños buenos. Y amaría poder conocerlos todos y visitar muchos de los rincones de Europa.

Returning to Barcelona, it is a city full of details, full of ceramics, colors, textures and shapes. The image above is a view of the roof of the Sagrada Familia designed by architect Antoni Gaudi. Started in 1882, it is still under construction, you can imagine the amount of details it has. The interesting thing about this work is also that Gaudi has passed away... he left everything ready for them to finish their work and is a legend of Spanish architecture.
Volviendo a Barcelona, es una ciudad llena de detalles, llena de cerámica, colores, texturas formas. La imagen de arriba es una vista del techo de la Sagrada Familia diseñada por el arquitecto Antoni Gaudí. Iniciada en 1882, todavía está en construcción, ya te puedes imaginar la cantidad de detalles que tiene. Lo interesante de esta obra es también, que Gaudí ya falleció... el dejó todo preparado para que terminaran su obra y es una leyenda de la arquitectura española.

I also love everything that my friends have told me about, the Spanish colonial style has always pleased me, here in the Dominican Republic, we still have the first city built as such The Colonial Zone practically intact, and since it has Spanish influence it is very similar to the last forography.
A perfect space to sit and drink a beer and talk for hours with a friend, or just read a book. Just to imagine it and remember it, I love it.
But now, I think I don't have to pass on any more images for you to understand that I love the city so now you tell me **If money was not a problem, where would you live? And why? That's all for now. También me encanta todo lo que me han contado los amigos que han ido, el estilo colonial español siempre me ha gustado, aquí en República Dominicana, todavía conservamos la primera ciudad construida como tal La zona Colonial prácticamente intacta, y como tiene influencia española es muy parecida a la ultima forografía.
Un espacio perfecto para sentarse a beberse una cerveza y hablar por horas con algún amigo, o solo leer un libro. Solo de imaginarlo y recordar me encanta.
Pero ya, creo que no tengo que pasar mas imágenes para que entiendas que me encanta la ciudad así que ahora cuéntame tú ¿Si el dinero no fuera un problema, ¿Dónde vivirías? ¿Y por qué?.
