Good afternooon, fellow Hive Bees!
This is not my entry for the Deranged Photography Contest - Cats hosted by @derangedvisions. (I actually entered with another photo, included in a post I made last week. But still.. no harm done in advertising the contest, right?)
This cute looking cat was walking on a sidewalk in the streets of Bragan莽a and I found it funny that, intentionally or not, he was avoiding stepping on the lines between the stones in the pavement. 馃
Check out how he carefully placed his paws in the stones without ever touching the lines which separated them...
This is a behaviour of some OCD patients. They walk without ever touching the lines in the floor, just like that game that we all used to play as kids.
A bit later the little critter proved me wrong... and stayed on the street with his paws on the lines between the stones.
He stood there for a while... and stepping on those lines didn't seem to bother him, after all:
Then he decided to move on and head back home to have dinner. Nah, I'm kidding. He just had to move because a car was coming and he was sitting in the middle of the street! 馃き
Still... This got me thinking... can a cat have an OCD (Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder)?
I mean, is that even possible or are these kind of disorders exclusive to the human kind? 馃
