Good night, tree lovers!
Today I'm sharing a few photos for the #treetuesday initiative by @old-guy-photos.
When I saw this little girl having fun in the garden of Solar dos Castros, in Vila Nova de Cerveira I couldn't resist doing a bit of paparazzi work. 😆
I've passed in front of this gate a few times and it's usually closed. It was nice seeing it open for a change. I entered and took a few pictures...
Inside I saw a little girl playing around while her mom was watching over her. 🤗
I wasn't the only one with a camera, her mother also had a nice camera and took a few shots of her daughter.
After they left, it was my time to walk around and appreciate the plants, flowers and other things, such as this decorative washing tank and fountain.
This was probably used to wash clothes many decades ago. Now it has a couple of fish swimming around. 😆
Here's a final view of the house which this garden belongs to.
Today no one lives there, it seems like this was an old mansion for a large noble family and it was sold to the government 50 years ago. Nowadays it is working as a public library. The government pledged to keep it maintained and not to alter the architecture of the building.
