Original photo, no filter. I've been seeing more and more of these cactus type plants. I'm not exactly sure what they are but they remind me of a cactus. I see Aloe plants around but they aren't sharp and prickly like these. Just ran a quick google search and got Aloe maculata; it's saying the plants contain reddish-brown spines along the edges.
