Facebook has placed a ban on all ads that advertise or promote cryptocurrencies. The thinking is that Crypto is misleading and deceptive.
I personally do not believe the reasoning behind this as many would say that Crypto is the future and more companies and online stores are accepting Bitcoin as means of payment.
They have also stated that the hype around crypto has led to scams and price inflation that cost people a load of cash.
What are your thoughts on this, do you think that Facebook could be starting a trend and could this influence other social media platforms and create negativity for cryptocurrencies?
