The school had a celebration the other day which I attended. Took a few photos here and there admiring the parents and kids creativity.
Fortunately the weather was on the good side, makes moving around much easier.
This here is a lantern made of cardboard resembling a yellow car, it looks like a cartoon character. The two black stripes makes it look speedy, I wonder if it was the kids idea or parents :)
Now this is the tallest of them all, a skeleton made from recycled plastic containers and sorts. This is a really cool one, loved the idea. LED lighted all the way from bottom to top.
And here is a boat of sort, complete with its own mini lanterns. Made of unwanted cardboard and some white and colored paper glued around it.
Seems like they have this activity every year, and I find it really encouraging for a family activity. It brings the kids and parents together to find a design and some old stuff around the house to make use of.
