The total crypto market cap tagged the highs made June 2017 for the second time. That's a good thing. What's not so good is the transition to using all this digital currency.
It's going to be a huge pain in the ass.
Possibly the only thing worse is not even understanding how much of a pain in the ass the transition is going to be and not having anything to participate in the daily requirements of making monetary transactions.
Below is a bunch of stuff I compile together, it makes sense to me. Perhaps it won't to you.
Cryptos are going to replace some of that for sure.......... maybe all.
The screenshots below can be copied and pasted into paint or excel or whatever to view better
Assuming 100,000,000,000 market cap
Top 20 cryptos being worth 99,000,000,000
Bitcoin being worth 50% - 50,000,000,000
The remaining 19 worth 49,000,000,000
The other 2000 tokens worth 1% 1,000,000,000
Question is what are the 20 surviving coins going to be?
Should be desentralized for sure
Have a purpose
Simple to use
characteristics of money are durability, portability, divisibility, uniformity, limited supply, and acceptability.
Where to go from here?
Total world wide money supply around 80 trillion
The European Union looks like it's just a matter of time before it implodes.
Oversees (North America) usually lags the Europeans by about 2 years.
So the real question is ............ What's going to replace the money we use everyday?
Characteristics of money are durability, portability, divisibility, uniformity, limited supply, and acceptability
The numbers below are not guaranteed to be accurate
China money supply----------->Data below....... 9 Trillion
Euro money supply-----------> Data below...........10 Trillion
United States money supply--------->Data below ........... 4 Trillion
Total world wide gold supply (ever mined)187,200 tonnes x 40 million / tonne = 7.5 trillion
We're almost there. If there was never a blow off, the total market capitalization of the cryptos would be at the green line and that price is around $100,000,000,000 USD
Who know's it could even go below that.
