Fact!
In 1894 Hildebrand & Wolfmüller became the first series production motorcycle. However motorcycles have the higher rate of fatal accidents than automobiles or trucks and buses. From the Fatality Analysis Reporting System show that passenger cars, 18.92 out of 100,000 registered vehicles have fatal crashes. For motorcycles this is higher, 75.19 out of 100,000 registered vehicles.
