Good evening, fellow hivers. For Day 6 of this challenge, I'll be writing about something I hope to do next year. Before I do. Apologies for not posting for day 5, I was preoccupied with something, therefore I was unable to post yesterday.
But here I am with the topic for day 6.
Like the proverb goes, "Man proposes, God disposes." With that in mind, I still need to make a strategy for my life. Next year, one thing I would really like to do is start a tech course. First and foremost, I am not a science student, nor do I know anything about computers, but for a long time now, I have had a lot to think about as a female with goals, and I have realized that I do need some kind of advancement in my life.
I've noticed something fantastic about myself. I usually catch up with things quickly, no matter how tough they appear at first, and even if I don't, I'm always interested in learning more about them.
Yes I would want to start a tech course and that would be “Web Designing” I have never thought this would be something that I would want to do as a person because all I have ever been interested in in life was having a family, I have been this person thinking all I needed was my family, don't get me wrong family is great and I so much appreciate the fact that I had to do this at an earlier stage of my life, yea, and I am kinda grateful for what I have right now. I have come to realize that it doesn't just stop there, as the world advances , there are stuffs that comes up and it comes to question your Person. You get what I mean right?
I asked myself this question, what will I as a person say to myself in a later future that I was able to achieve or something that i could say that made my family always happy around me?, like something I am doing for them or something I did for them? well after thinking I couldn't answer that question and which prompted me to think deeply about my achievements in life.
Choosing to major in web design is a decision driven by multiple factors, both personal and practical. Primarily, I see it as an opportunity for self-improvement and skill development in a field that's both creative and technical. Web design offers a perfect blend of artistry and technology, allowing me to express my creativity while honing my technical abilities.
Moreover, I'm drawn to web design because it provides a clear professional identity. Being able to confidently say, "I'm a web designer," gives me a sense of purpose and direction. It's a tangible skill set that I can proudly share with others and use to define my career path.
Financially, web design offers promising prospects. In today's digital age, the demand for skilled web designers is consistently high. By pursuing this field, I aim to secure a stable income that can help support my family and improve our overall quality of life. This financial stability is crucial for me, as it allows me to contribute meaningfully to my family's well-being.
Lastly, majoring in web design is about personal value and recognition. I believe that by developing expertise in this area, I can create work that's truly appreciated. Whether it's designing a user-friendly interface or crafting a visually stunning website, I look forward to the satisfaction of seeing my efforts recognized and valued by clients and users alike.
In essence, web design represents not just a career choice, but a path to personal growth, professional identity, financial security, and self-worth.
Currently, I am an ND student at Yaba College of Technology studying Marketing, and the majority of my funds go toward obtaining a degree for myself. I should be finished with this national diploma by April of next year, and then I'll have to complete a one-year compulsory IT course that the school has mandated. I intend to enroll at a school that teaches web design during this time; I am not sure how the funds will come in, but I am confident that God will find a way for me before then.
So, in essence, the aim is to use my IT period to do this; at the very least, my learning for a year will get me started, and I will know I am making progress toward my goal.
So that's all for the plan I intend to attain next year; I really hope I can accomplish this as a person. To be honest, I don't currently have any plans regarding the financial side of it.Well till then!
