Hi guys welcome to my blog, this post is my entry to the hive learner's weekly contest.
We all know that the norm in the world now is online shopping, everyone wants to buy something or everything online, I have seen many people buying things online, and even seen some organizations that were only into physical trading now engage in online sales. If I was asked this question two months ago, maybe I would have picked online shopping as my preferred choice, but I had a change of mind when I actually tried buying something online.
So I and my sister saw a particular hairstyle we wanted to make for our church Xmas carol, we decided to get, a human hair blend, the hairstyle was made with gel, so we only had to get the ponytail, She told me she has a vendor whom she does see that posts hair she sells, so I told her to asked her how much it would cost each of us to get one each after she had chatted the vendor up, we were given a good price which I believe was nice, not long after I was in class when I saw my sister's message saying the vendor said we will be given gifts for the things we bought, I was like what kind of gift? She had to go back and ask her what kind of gift, we were told we would be given an extra hair because they were running a promo that season, I was scared at the point that, it was a scam, but I was too occupied to let it bother me.
The order took 5 days before it was delivered to us, it's one of the things I really don't like about online shopping the time it takes for an order to get to someone who ordered. So I was in school when the driver called me to say he was outside the address we gave him, the annoying thing about his call was that he was rude, just because he had called twice and I wasn't picking up, I had to calm him down and told me I was in school and that my phone is always on silence whenever I am in school, I just apologize for not answering my call, then he later went ahead to say I will send him airtime just because he was the one calling me. and because I had other things I was doing, I called my friend to come out of her gate to check the package, since I was there I didn't know how it was after we finished the exam I went to my mum's place to go take my own stuff, cause I had called Jessy to go collect the package from my friend's side which was not far from our side when I got there the first thing I checked was the hair, which was okay for the price we got it for, but only thing was that it wants what I expected, even the free gift was worst, till date I haven't used it, the headband wig was very terrible, when I saw it I burst out laughing and I said to Jessy if all this money we spent on this hair, had it been we went to the market we would have gotten something very good for ourselves
This brings me to say, I still prefer the old fashioned way of buying and also selling, cause I am able to make my choice on things I need to get, I am able to feel the texture of things I buy also I get to see the things I buy.
