Hello everyone welcome to my blog, it is a beautiful evening from my end, today was a tedious day, preparing for test and exam have made my engagement very low, it won't be a good thing if I don't write on this topic, I am always happy to share experiences that I may or someone close as gone through, cause it might be of help to someone reading,
An experience they say is the best teacher this is so true as one has gone through the situation then we learn from it. When we have someone that might be advising us against that thing we want to go into, we feel as if the person or people do not want us to enjoy or be free, we feel as if we are being prisoned, until the situation happens and we have a clear mind on what we are actually doing and then we see reasons to it. This happens mostly to teenagers as they feel one complains too much and doesn't want them to have people around them.
It is just like I tell my youngest sister, what do you achieve from the things you feel are right for you? do you feel joy,? do you feel good about yourself? I don't even give her advice anymore because I have been in that shoes before, I learned the hard way, and I came out purified at the end.
When I was much younger, my parents always warned us against bad friends, but teenagers being teenagers, it was as if the words fell on deaf ears. At one point in my life, I was a rebellious teenager fresh out of high school, I wanted to mingle with the big boys and girls, I was a novice at drinking, but after I came in contact with these so-called friends, I became so rebellious, I only listen to myself, at this time of my life I thought I was enjoying life, unknown to me I was doing myself more harm than good
I partied none stop, I didn't have time for God or anyone else, I was barely at home, and then one day I and these friends were invited to a birthday party ,; it was in a club, I didn't think this through as I didn't even leave a message for my parent as to where I was going, so I followed this friend s and we went partying, on getting to the club we were asked to sit at the VIP, because we were ladies, soon after a game of truth or dare started, deep down me I still had this church mind, so I declined whatever dare I was given and instead drank the alcohol as punishment after four shot I was already dizzy, I still had my consciousness, I and my other friend managed to get to her house, and when morning came I regretted my actions of the previous night cause I was so hungover, I slept the whole day and there I vowed never to drink or go out with them again.
That was the last time I ever hung out with them, my experience with bad friends and alcohol ended there and I became a whole new being, it was as if I was bathed with a new mindset at that time. This is my experience and I learned from it.
