I don't worry too much about flash crashes. These usually result from somebody dumping a large position and the market recovers quickly. When things are bad is when there is a large dump and price does not recover.

Once things start turning around, people who have stayed away will start jumping in again, driving the price up.

My timeframe is a bit shorter. We have Uptober coming up.
