Hi Everyone,

One of our friends told us a new lunch menu came out at BBQ Kitchen at Chatswood so we went to check out what is new. We were there on the weekend so it was pretty busy so they gave us a booth table which we prefer which is less crowded.

Let’s check out the new lunch menu! Firstly, the price of the menu didn't go up but the choices definitely changed. The rest of the other special menus seemed to be much the same.

Due to the large servings they give us at the restaurant, we ordered two sets which was plenty. We ordered a Three treasure rice with salted duck egg and braised rice vermicelli with shredded pork. The meals come with a drink so we ordered a hot milk tea and honey with lemon water. I was surprised how they took the picture of the vermicelli dish as we definitely know it doesn’t look like that in real life. I guess probably they want to let the customers know clearly they are getting duck meat.

Here comes out dishes. The rice dish consists of sausage, soy duck and Chinese BBQ pork with duck eggs (the best part). My noodle dish was just huggeeeee. It can literally fit in a 1 litre container so there was plenty to go around the table. There were plenty of duck and the noodles were nice and soft with the right about of sauce.The food was delicious! This is one of the restaurants I would go back over and over again because the food tastes very close to the ones you get in Hong Kong. When I crave for Hong Kong-style food, this is the place to be. The drinks were the same as you can’t really get them wrong. It came out nice and hot.

Service here is always fast and accurate. They know us well so not much serving is required. The price is acceptable considering the servings are huge. Don’t be afraid to order here, you won’t be disappointed.
