This coin was minted in 2016, so it is eight years old. But it's only been in my collection since last week, so it's new to me.

I have nothing against the Temple of Tiananmen in Beijing. But Panda is nicer. The panda was the point. I missed her in the series.

As you can see, it's not the only vintage I miss. Pandas, however, have a high premium to the price of silver. The older the vintage, the higher the premium.

But pandas are so cute! I'm afraid I'm going to have to buy all the missing vintages, 2020, 2019, 2018, 2017. Even if I have to pay almost 100% over the price of silver.

That's why I have to buy pandas on an ongoing basis as they come out. As of 2019, there is a development of one just born panda on them.

A panda can live up to 40 years in captivity. So I should buy until 2059. But I hope the panda lives to an even older age.

I'll be 92 years old in 2059.
