In early December I decided to start stacking silver ounce coins. I want to buy one every week. But that's a bit impractical. So I always wanted to buy four a month.
I live in Central Europe. The shopping options here are different than if I lived in Canada, for example. (I get the impression from watching here that a lot of #silverogoldstackers users are from Canada.)
I don't know how it is elsewhere, but here we have a value added tax of 21% on the purchase of silver investment coins... Gold coins are not subject to this tax. But I decided to start with silver.
So it's July. I should have 28 silver one ounce coins... Do you also sometimes break your own rules? Unfortunately I do it... Sometimes...
As I live in Europe, the cheapest European coins are here. Today I want to show you mine.
Armenian coins. They are the cheapest here.
And my first rule violation... I have a resolution to buy it in one ounce coins. And here's a half ounce and a quarter ounce. I couldn't do otherwise. Those tiny coins were looking at me so sadly... I couldn't just leave them alone with the merchant.
Austria and Malta...
These coins are still the same. Only the years change on the coins. I think it's enough for me to have just one piece of each. This also applies to Armenian coins.
British two pound coins. On the obverse, only the monarch changes (every 77 years), but...
... but on the other side of the coin. The basic figure is Britannia in a helmet. But many series are released every year. This is, for example, the Robin Hood series, which is published from 2021. And two pieces a year. I intend to buy more British coins...
I showed a dozen of my coins. I think most of you already own them. I would still like to show off my ounce coins from Asia, Africa, America, Australia... But isn't that boring for you?
